2-21-11 Veil lifted under Christ Not so much a word as an observation – In Exodus 34:30 - 35 we are told that Moses’ face shone after he spent time talking with God and that he would put a veil over his face because the people were afraid to approach him. I was reading in 2 Corinthians 3 more especially for the purpose of this discussion 15 & 16. Which tells us that the veil is still there under the old covenant (without Christ) but that when someone turns to the new covenant (salvation through Christ) the veil is taken away. I found this interesting because as we know when Christ was crucified and died, the veil of the temple was ripped in two! These passages talk about a veil over the heart and the mind being dull. Let Jesus remove the veil from your heart and reveal to you the fullness of Him and all His glory!
