1-10-13 Arrested for Jesus On my way home last night I saw several police cars, a few with people pulled over and a number of them around a Checkers drive through. It made me think about being arrested for Jesus. No not locked up as some saints have been for preaching the gospel but arrested. The dictionary says arrest means to stop and check; to attract and fix, as the attention; to seize by force. Has God got your attention? Has your focus been seized by Him? Has He had to stop and check you in some action, deed or thought? Have you been arrested for Jesus? Paul said “ For I determined not to know any thing among you, save Jesus Christ, and him crucified.” 1 Cor 2:2 The previous verse says he wasn’t coming in himself – with excellence of speech.
