2-22-12 To busy looking down to see what’s right in front of you! I was looking for a parking place at work.   I was looking down the drive aisle of parked cars to see if there was an empty spot.   I decided there might be so I went to go down the aisle and I look and there is an empty spot right in front of me! I was so busy looking “down” that I missed what was right in front of me! There’s a message here somewhere. A message about keeping our eyes on what’s in front of us, on Jesus, on the goal. A message about keeping our eyes open to possibilities, especially ones that are staring us in the face. A message about not looking “down” but “up” and forward toward the one directing our path. A message about being so absorbed that we miss the obvious.
